Effects of chitosan nanoparticles coating on delaying of seed soybean (Gycine max) deterioration

High-quality seed is always demanded by farmers and may result in up to a 30% increase crop yields. One of the major constraints ofsoybean cultivation that soybean seeds quickly deteriorate storage due high lipid protein content. Coating technology withvarious coating formulas needed extend seeds’ shelf life. This research aimed determine effects CSNPs (chitosan-waxnanoparticles) CS (chitosan-wax) as active ingredients delaying Deterioration quality. Two varietiesof three treatments (control, CS, CSNPs) were used during for six months. Each treatment wasreplicated four times, observation was conducted monthly. The showed could significantly suppressthe water content decrease fat levels compared control. Moreover, also suppresses therespiration rate, ethylene content, MDA concentration storage, especially Grobogan variety. coated showeda higher vigor index germination than controls, particularly Dega performed better controlfor all experimental parameters. percentage variety after months at andCSNPs 93.33 92.67%, respectively, much initial mositure contentmuch influenced seed’s physical, chemical, viability storage.
